Jewish end-of-life traditions and laws touch on many of the beliefs that make up the foundation of Judaism: the Neshamah (soul), the afterlife, reward and punishment, and resurrection (T’CHIYAS HAMEISIM).
By studying these practices, we can gain a greater understanding of these beliefs, as well as an appreciation for the profundity of Halachah and our traditions
